furthered.
THE CHRISTIAN INSTITUTE COMMUNITY SCHOOL
The vision for this school is that it shall be a school which serves both the college and the surrounding community, thereby furthering the work of
the gospel and bringing blessing to many. It is envisaged that programmes will include:
Boys’ Brigade: This began in June 2008.
Holiday School for three weeks during vacation: First held August/September 2008.
Nursery and Primary School: It is hoped that this can begin as an A.C.E. (Accelerated Christian Education) school in 2009. As the wives of
students come to the college, provision must be made for their children; members of staff and those who live nearby may also wish to enroll their
children here.
Extra-Mural Classes for Adults: The needs of the immediate area will be assessed, particularly in terms of literacy, and it is hoped that classes
will start by 2009.
As a part of the college, the school is within the Anglican tradition, but all are welcome. Standards of behaviour, character and values are
expected to conform with Biblical principles and with the gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ. It is of utmost importance for the lives of individuals, of
families, communities and of the nation, that we do everything possible to teach and to train the children of today be godly citizens and leaders in
the next generation.
