LANDS
The diocesan Land Department headed by the diocesan lands officer, supervises, evaluates, and
processes every document that has to do with the Landed properties of the Diocese.
In this Department, site plans are drawn, the department ensures that diocesan landed properties are
kept without any trespassers.

The Lands Department provides awareness on the purchases of Landed properties to avoid frauds.
The department also ensures that steps in signing of landed property agreements are done
appropriately. So that what is God's may not suddenly be an individual's investment, but the kingdom's
investment entrusted to the Bishop as the trustee of the Diocese.

The diocesan lands department makes inquirer of landed property to be sold and inform the diocese in
case of any interest. Thais department was created due to the problems the church has had on landed
properties which mostly resulted in loses. But the vision of creating this department came through the
Archbishop, Benjamin Kwashi. This department's activities involve pursuing all legal matters affecting
lands in the diocese.
Through the vision of Mrs Gloria Ladi Kwashi, "we should not destroy originals"... A tree planting
campaign is on in this diocese through this department and it is making sure that all schools, churches,
and every department in the diocese is involved in tree planting year after year, at the beginning of
every rainy season. This has added a lot of beauty to the environment within the entire coverage of the
diocese.
