THE PROVINCE OF JOS

In recent years the Church of Nigeria has shown very considerable growth. As a result it is
now divided into ten Ecclesiastical Provinces, with a current total of over 120 Dioceses plus
three Missions (in the Church of the Province of the Congo, in U.S.A. and the Nomdaic
Mission)

The Province of Jos was inaugurated on 23rd February, 2003 under the leadership of the
Most Rev. E. K. Mani, Bishop of Maiduguri.

At that time the dioceses in Jos Province were:

Today, the Province of Jos contains the following dioceses:
Diocese Jos, Yola, Maiduguri, Bauchi, Damaturu, Jalingo, Gombe Bukuru
Pankshin, Langtang
